Frequently asked questions.
How long does it take to receive the edited photos?
After our shoot, you are guaranteed to receive a few sneak peeks within 48 hours after the shoot. After that, it takes 30-45 days to edit and send the entire gallery.
Do you shoot film? YES! If you request film, I will incorporate it throughout your wedding day. You can chose between color and black and white film, as well as how many exposures you want. (I also offer a mini film session for couples)
Can you recommend a location?!
Heck yes! I’ll usually ask you to send me some inspo pics (or even a whole Pinterest board!) so I can get an idea of what your dream vision is!! From there, I’ll recommend spots on the island that I think would work best for you vision. :)
Can you recommend vendors?
Absoutely! Just shoot me an email and l’ll send you a PDF of my favorite vendors on island.
What the heck should I wear?!
I highly recommend sticking with plain, solid colors (white, light blue, and avoid any distracting or clashing patterns. Solid colors tend to work best and makes you stand out from the background. :) But most importantly, wear what you feel comfortable AND beautiful in!!
I’ve never had professional photos done before¦ can you help pose me?
Sis, i got you!!! I will help guide you through the entire shoot. I don't ask you guys to pose; rather I give you active prompts when needed to capture that genuine love, laughter, and happiness (yes, I’m cheesy AF lol)
Do i get to keep the raw, unedited photos? One of the main parts of choosing a photographer is picking them because of their style of editing/retouching. In general, I do not provide raw images to clients because editing styles is what sets us apart and defines our unique styles as photographers. :)
Does it cost for you to travel? It depends on where the location is! If it's a destination or out-of-state, it is the package price + travel/accomodation fee's. Let's chat more, because everyone’s situation is unique!
What time of day is best for lighting for our location?
It all depends on where the location is! The best lighting is usually during sunrise or sunset.
During the SUMMER: Sunrise is at 6:00 AM and sunset is at 7:00 PM. During the WINTER: Sunrise is at 6:45 AM and sunset is at 5:45 PM.
Our experience with Tristan was better than I could’ve imagined. I planned a surprise engagement for my fiancé during our trip to Oahu and I was lucky enough to find Tristan on Instagram to help capture the moment. I told her my plans to propose and she helped facilitate the proposal and even helped picked the proposal spot which ended up being perfect. On top of that, she went out of her way to do the full hike which not your average photographer would consider doing! She was able to capture our moment discreetly. Our photos turned out perfect and we’re happy that Tristan was there to capture everything!
